With around 9-13 rounds per year, this
avenue of motorsport allows full-on race cars and street cars
alike, the opportunity to get onto the greatest black track
circuits available in Western Australia including Barbagallo
Raceway, the same circuit as used by the V8 Supercars. Collie
Motorplex, another black track circuit, provides the same thrills
but without the hills. A couple of Hillclimbs complete the season
calendar, all being run as closed road events. Fastest time,
in your class, gets you the points for the day.

All types of cars are catered for, from standard road car to
full-on race cars, with classes to suit.
More information can be found in the 2009
LF Performance Speed Event Series Regulations.
Each Round has an Entry Fee of approximately $100-$130, which
normally includes a practice run and 4 timed runs.
Entry to the Series is currently $45/yr (enables you to score
points in the LF Performance Speed Event Series).
A current CAMS licence is required, see more information or
apply for licence at http://www.cams.com.au
Your tyres, fuel, mechanical repairs and expenses go on top
of that :)
Please note: Your normal road car vehicle insurance will be
void when participating in any competition event. Racing is
dangerous, if you can't afford to lose your vehicle you shouldn't
risk an off and possibly write-off your vehicle (it happens
to the best of us).
