Daniel Yovanovich has kindly volunteered to update new records. Please post in here if you have broken a record, not only for bragging rights (and fully deserved they are), but it will make it easier/faster for Daniel to find and update any records. Tony is going to include the tag #BussoSprint11 in all the messages so if people search for that tag, whether or not they follow speedeventserie, they will get the times.  If they only want their own results, they can search for something like “#bussosprint11 car 23″.  Searches are not case sensitive.
Note that the 2 test times only have the tag #BussoSprint without the 11 but Tony has added the 11 for future tweets.

To be eligible, cars must be registered LF Performance SES entrant, Road Registered and driven to the track. Wheels can be changed at the track, but it must be driven to an event to be eligible for points in the Take it to the Track (TT) . . . → Read More: TT Challenge]]> New to 2011, the Take it to the Track Challenge. To be eligible, cars must be registered LF Performance SES entrant, Road Registered and driven to the track. Wheels can be changed at the track, but it must be driven to an event to be eligible for points in the Take it to the Track (TT) Challenge, and driven home (unless obvious mechanical failure or damage, points for that event will still be awarded).
At this stage, points will be calculated from combining two criteria.
For each event, Points will be awarded to Fastest TT (10,8,6,4,3 points) AND oldest TT (10,8,6,4,3 points), so that a fast 1970 Datsun could pick up 6 points for 3rd fastest TT and 10 points for oldest TT, total 16 points for that event.
Highest Total points accumulated during the 2011 season will be awarded the inaugural Take it to the Track Challenge Trophy.

This is NOT to encourage race spec cars to use the road to get to the track, so please DON’T attempt that just to get some points. Obvious race spec cars will NOT be awarded points in the TT Challenge, thats not what its about.

All new competitors (or havent competed for a few seasons and your old number has been re-allocated) will be allocated the first available number not currently in use or saved for a regular competitor. Some numbers are permanently reserved and will not be available to new competitors. If you have not been a “regular” competitor, your number from last year will be retained for the first 2 events (previously 3), but if you have not registered for the new season by that time, then your last years number will be re-allocated to new competitors. It will then become “their” number if they continue to compete in the series (or you both agree to a number change).

What this means is, if you are a regular competitor, you can leave your numbers on, season to season, and wont need to rely on temporary event numbers that arent always big enough or professionally made vinyl cut stickers. If you are putting vinyl cut sticker numbers on your car, we suggest numbers should be at least 150mm high, and in a clear, bold font. Suitable fonts include Futura Xtra Black Condensed, Arial Bold, Impact, Microgramma Bold, Swiss721 Black.

Only Registered competitors can reserve a number.

If a number was only used for ONE event last year and the competitor has not regiistered for this season, that number will be allocated to a new competitor, unless that competitor advises that they will be registering.

#34 now taken. Numbers will now be taken from people who only competed 2 or 3 times last year and havent re-registered for this year or been in touch to say they will be registering. Or you get a number over 100.
