All compeditors are invited to upload and share their videos. Its a great way to show your skills and also catch a glimpse of your fellow entrants in action.
Uploading your videos is easy and can be done via an automated process on YouTube.
All you need is a ‘YouTube’ account. YouTube is provided as a free service and signing up takes less then 5 minutes to complete the process.
If you have an existing ‘Gmail’ or ‘Google’ account, this also provides access to the service. Using your existing login details after clicking ‘Sign In’ will gain you access to the service.
Once you have Signed In to your account, simply click Upload and the above dialogue will appear. Clicking ‘Select Files From Your Computer’ will open a window that will ask you to select the video you would like to upload to YouTube. The upload will begin as soon as your selection is made.
You will now be asked to enter in some details about this video. This helps others to find your video and also links your video to others which are similar i.e. other Speed Event Series videos or videos of your model car.
The ‘Title’ is the large text that is displayed above the video. Some recommended information would be the location or name of the event and possibly some information about the vehicle.
The ‘Description’ tells the viewer a little more about the video. Some information worth including may be the season, round number and mention of the Speed Event Series.
‘Tags’ link your video to others which may be similar. An example would be putting ‘Speed Event Series’ as a tag would connect your video with all the other speed event series videos. This is also true of your vehicle model and event details.
